Staying up to date with the industry standards and to make sure the company operates within the standards; – Monitoring activities for compliance versus applicable regulations (multiple jurisdictions)
Creating and maintaining Policy and Process documents, for internal and external requirements; – Drafting and distribute internal documents with educational purposes regarding how to improve the compliance level;
Assessing product, compliance, and operational risks and develop risk management strategies;
Complete and file reports and regulatory returns with various Regulatory authority’s relevant to encountered issues;
Examine and improve auditing processes to prevent compliance issues – or resolve them in a timely manner;
Assist the Head of Compliance with conducting periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
Consult with the legal team and other professionals on compliance matters;
Communicate confidentially with employees and management and address any concerns they have about ethical or other compliance matters within a department or division;
Strive not only to meet compliance standards, but also to exceed them for peak operating efficiency;
Assist with all DPO requests from customers
Assist/Manage Due Diligence requests from external partners and service providers
Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in Compliance and the Gambling Industry
Knowledge and understanding of Malta and UK gaming regulations;
Knowledge and understanding of AML and RG requirements
Strong Analytical skills and attention to details;
Ability to create clear, high-quality documentation is a must;
Team player with a positive attitude;
Knowledge and understanding of IT Security Standards ISO27001 is considered a plus;
Knowledge and understanding of GDPR is considered a plus;
Gambling Industry Certifications are considered a plus.
